ARMY ROTC
BASIC COURSE
The four-year army ROTC is divided into two parts. the Basic Course and the Advanced Course. The Basic Course is generally taken during the first year of college and incurs no military obligation. unless you receive National Guard of scholarship funds. In the Basic Course, you’ll experience leadership challanges, military tactics, weapon training and more.

ADVANCED COURSE
The Advanced Course is offered the final two years of college to students with the interest and potential to become Guard officers- and who meet the physical mental and academic standards. Completion of the Basic Course or CIET is a prerequisite. Those attending the Advanced Course also commit to serve as an Officer in the National Guardor Army following graduation.
SIMULTANEOUS MEMBERSHIP
With SMP, you participate in both the Guard and your college’s ROTC program at the same time. During this two-year course, you’ll be paired with and mentored by a unit officer, and get paid to drill once a month with your Guard unit. In addition, check out these benefits:
- Qualify for up to 100 percent tuition with the Guaranteed Reserve Force Duty(GFRD) scholarship.
- Earn a cash bonus, depending on your Military Occupational Specialty(MOS)
- Receive a monthly allowance, based on your grade level.
- Get more money every month through the Montgomery GI Bills and Guard Kicker.

About ROTC
The Army Reserve Officer Training Corps(ROTC) prepares college students to become future Officers. As a cadet participation take just a few hours per week, so you’ll maintain a normal collegiate schedule. In which ROTC is an elective. In class, you’ll study leadership and have the opportunity to learn skill like rappelling, marksmanship and orienteering.Flat out: It’ll be one of your favorite college classes.
Best of All, on graduation, those who complete ROTC will receive a bachelor’s degree and commision straight out of college as a Second lieutenant.

SNHU ROTC
The Army ROTC Program at SNHU puts you on a path toward becoming an effective leader capable of communicating, managing, and motivating others toward a common goal. Cadets who successfully complete Army ROTC training are commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants upon graduation with part-time (Reserve Component) or full-time (Active Component) jobs.
